Lot 6 Colt Single Action Army .45 LC #354628
Vintage Colt Single-Action Army chambered in .45 Colt. This is a late 1st Generation revolver manufactured in 1932 in Hartford, CT. It features a 7.5" barrel with a blade front sight, notch sight in the rear, smooth curved thin trigger, checkered hammer spur, factory black checkered grips with 'Rampant Colt' motifs, and a six round fluted cylinder. Most of the firearm has a blued finish with a case-color hardened frame, loading gate, and hammer. There is a one-line Colt address on top of the barrel. "Colt Single Action Army .45" is stamped on left side of barrel, and a two-line stamping displays the patent dates and "Rampant Colt" on left of the frame. The left triggerguard has triangle proof, and a "J". The right triggerguard has what looks to be an "F". The action is crisp/tight, the bore is excellent and bright, and the grips are excellent. This pistol has been factory quality refinished. The blued refinish is about 98% with minor edge wear and blemishes. The color-case parts of this revolver are also excellent. This revolver comes with a period factory box, and an extra set of hard rubber grips.
